Reading these pages leaves nothing in your browser and asks you to fill in nothing. A single log line is written on the server, and only when you follow a “Get the app” link.
§ 1 What this site records
Nothing on these pages keeps a record of you in your browser — not a cookie, not a visitor counter, no ad or tracking code, and not a single form field. The one exception: tapping a “Get the app” button sends you through go.mpjepharmacylaw.com, a small relay that passes you along to Apple’s store listing (from a computer, to a single screen holding the store badge) and files a short entry for that click on our server. The entry holds:
- Origin
- the page on this site where the button sat (read from the link, or else from the referrer your browser passes along) and its spot: header, sidebar, mid-page app box, closing band or casebook
- Destination
- app button or store badge, the target it resolved to (App Store, a web page or that one-screen page) and the device platform, as guessed from your browser’s self-description
- Network
- the IP address behind the request, plus the number and name of the network operator holding it
- Rough place
- country down to city, time zone and the Cloudflare site that answered, as Cloudflare reckons them from that IP address
- Browser
- the user-agent line your browser identifies itself with, and the referrer
- Link tags
- campaign tags written into the link (utm_ and the like), when there are any
Purpose of the entry: telling which pages actually lead someone to tap through toward the app, and weeding bot traffic out of the count. Off limits: dropping a cookie or ID on your device, selling or passing the entries to anyone, and any try at pinning a click on a named person.
Cloudflare serves both this site and go.mpjepharmacylaw.com; its own rules for request data are in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
§ 2 Changes to this page
